JOSEPH W. DRUMMOND, one of the most highly esteemed citizens of Howard, died at his home in that place Saturday of tuberculosis. He has been a sufferer from this dreaded disease for some time and death seemed as a relief. Deceased was a widower, aged 80 years, 9 months and 16 days. He is survived by three sons, two daughters and a host of friends. He was one of the oldest residents of that neighborhood and has done much towards the progress and success of his community. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon after which interment was made in the Ephlin cemetery. -s
